Snow White Tutu

I found the CUTEST tutorial on treasuresfortots.blogspot.com on how to make a Snow White tutu :) Mia has Snow White Princess shoes so I thought it would be perfect for Halloween. I still have to add the blue ribbon and bow around the waist.

It was hard to talk her into putting it on, so I'm hoping she'll wear it trick or treating! She seemed to like it once she had it on.

I just love little girls in tutus! Now that I know how to make them I can make them for my girls all the time :) Thanks Angie for the fun tutorial!

Fire Last Night in Catano, PR

Last night around 12:30 (I think), my husband rushed in and woke me up, telling me I have to hurry outside to see something. At this point I had no idea what he was talking about, I was so out of it. He led me out to our balcony and up to our terrace to see this! Once we were up there he told me to go grab my camera. We couldn't believe the site! My husband said he heard a huge BOOM and felt the house shake. I think the noise became part of my dream, LOL, I thought it was Mia coming out of her room and slamming the door. Anyway, we have an amazing view from our terrace, and thanks to my zoom lens I was able to get some closeups. Rotations at the hospital (my husband is a med student) are canceled due to the freeways being shut down. We were told this morning that it was an oil refinery in Catano.

Amy's Sweet Bundle

My good friend Amy just gave birth to this precious little angel a few days ago. Holding this little guy made me so excited for my little one to come :) I took a few pictures just before he had to eat. I'll have to take more on my next visit!

I can't wait to have a photoshoot with my baby in a few weeks! These two little babies will be good little buddies!

Paddle Surfing

A few weeks ago before a photo shoot, I spotted this guy paddle surfing and had to snap a few pictures. I had fun playing around with the editing. I like the old school feel of this one.

I don't know why, but I really like this one. I just like the feel of it, and the palm tree overshadowing the top.

This family was so photogenic! It was really hard to narrow down my retouches. They were such a pleasure to work with. I may post more after the weekend when I have more time to go through them :)

Amy and Her Cute Belly

Amy is on bed rest, so we did a quick 10 minute photoshoot in her backyard. I LOVE how they turned out! She is so radiant (wish I could say the same for myself, LOL). Our due dates are only a week apart. It's been fun being pregnant with such a good friend. Thanks for being such an easy model Amy!
