Happy Thanksgiving!

With Thanksgiving just a few days away, I can't help but to think about all of my many blessings. I am so thankful for my two sweet, beautiful, healthy little girls-and a husband who gave them to me! I love my family and love this time of year. Photography provides me with a way to express my love for them through photographs that I can cherish forever. I'm so thankful!
I'm thankful that Hayden is out of the NICU and is finally home with us so we can snuggle her whenever we want. I'm so thankful!
I'm thankful for tiny little baby feet! Even with lint between her toes ;-) I'm so thankful!
I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving! May we all be reminded of our many blessings...

Hayden's First Photoshoot

Hayden has been home for two days now, so this morning I did a quick photoshoot in our front room on the couch. I hope to get some outside shots maybe next week. She is such a little doll baby, and such a joy to have in our home.

Stay tuned for new photos in the near future!

Introducing Hayden Reese Hatch

Born November 7, 2009 at 9:51am. 6lbs. 10oz.-20inches long and I'm in LOVE with her! Our first week has been tough because she was in the NICU right after she was born. She was having respiratory problems and ended up having pnemonia. I wasn't able to hold her or feed her until she was 4 days old. We just brought her home today so I haven't done a "real" photoshoot with her yet. I had to zoom in so you couldn't tell she was hooked up to wires, so enjoy the headshot ;-)
This was my first time holding her and I couldn't have been happier. I felt like a little kid on Christmas that morning. We sure love her and are so happy to have her home with us finally. You'll be seeing more of her I'm sure!

Snow White Tutu

I found the CUTEST tutorial on treasuresfortots.blogspot.com on how to make a Snow White tutu :) Mia has Snow White Princess shoes so I thought it would be perfect for Halloween. I still have to add the blue ribbon and bow around the waist.
It was hard to talk her into putting it on, so I'm hoping she'll wear it trick or treating! She seemed to like it once she had it on.

I just love little girls in tutus! Now that I know how to make them I can make them for my girls all the time :) Thanks Angie for the fun tutorial!
